Police Seek Help in Locating Stolen Classic Cars

Two classic cars were recently stolen about a month apart in Glendora and police need the public’s help in finding who stole them.

A primer black, 1931 Chevy five-window Coupe was stolen from a locked garage in the 1200 block of South Sunflower Avenue May 27. Detectives are also investigating a stolen gray 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible taken from the parking lot of L.A. Fitness, 820 S. Grand Ave. on June 29.

Detectives do not have information that these thefts are related.

The Chevy Coupe’s value is around $20,000, while the GTO’s value is around $30,000, said Det. Zach Houser of the Glendora Police Department.

Police do not have any suspect descriptions at this time.

The GTO was last seen with license plate number 7EDM237; the Chevy Coupe was last seen with license plate number 7GQX857.
