The Glendora Police Department will discuss multiple topics on surviving active shooter situations tomorrow at Citrus College.

The forum “Surviving An Active Shooter” will take place Tuesday, May 3, in the Haugh Performing Arts Center at Citrus, 1000 W. Foothill Blvd. starting at 2:40 p.m.

The 90-minute presentation delivered by Police Chief Tim Staab will provide potential lifesaving tips and training on not only surviving an active shooter incident, but how to dissect an active shooter profile and hot to run, hide and fight.

Acquiring situational awareness and the role of social media will also be discussed.

The event is free for all Citrus College students, employees and community members.
