Coroner’s officials named the Victorville man killed after being hit by a white Toyota Tundra on the Interstate 210 freeway August 29.

Raymundo Hernandez, 53, was killed after sustaining blunt force trauma during a collision on the westbound 210 east of Sunflower Avenue. Hernandez was ejected from his motorcycle after losing control of his 2007 Harley Davidson and landed on the No. 1 lane where the Tundra ran over him.

The driver of the Toyota Tundra stopped, made contact with Hernandez and then continued on driving. The California Highway Patrol is asking the public for help in identifying the driver of the Tundra.

Hernandez was transported to Foothill Presbyterian where he died from his injuries, said Rodrigo Jimenez of the CHP Baldwin Park Office.

A cause of death for Hernandez has yet to be determined. An autopsy has been scheduled for today, September 1, said Lt. David Smith, Supervising Investigator with the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
