City officials have just announced that Glendora has downgraded to a yellow alert status as the intense winter storm that dumped nearly two inches of rain on town has mostly passed.
- No evacuation orders in effect.
- Rain-related parking restrictions in effect.
- Residents directed to remove vehicles, trash bins and other obstructions from streets and/or travel lanes as they will be subject to tow or removal by authorities.
- No restricted entry to impact area/potentially impacted areas.
There still remains the chance for scattered showers and possible thunderstorms tonight. Rain will taper off into the nighttime. Mostly sunny skies are expected for Saturday, just in time for the Glendora Christmas Parade, which begins at 9 a.m. near the Glendora Village.
