UPDATE, 3:45 a.m.: The man struck by a car late Tuesday night on Grand Avenue suffered a serious head injury, but is otherwise in stable condition, said Lt. Scott Strong of Glendora Police.
PREVIOUSLY: Police are continuing to investigate a collision that left a 25-year-old man in serious condition.
The collision occurred at 8:21 p.m. at the intersection of Grand and Colorado avenues. A 63-year-old female driver was southbound on Grand Avenue in her Toyota Camry approaching Colorado Avenue when the man allegedly wandered into the street. The driver struck the man, said Lt. Scott Strong of Glendora Police.
The man was flown to County/USC Medical Center by Los Angeles County Fire fighters and is reported to be in serious condition, Strong said.
The driver is cooperating with the investigation and has not been cited by police, Strong said.
The intersection remained closed.
