Riders eying early-morning parking spaces can now purchase parking permits for one of three available Gold Line stations on the Foothill Extension.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced $39 monthly permits available for the Downtown Azusa, Monrovia and Irwindale station parking structures. The permits allow riders to park in designated spaces if they arrive between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Permits went on sale Monday, June 13 and have already sold out at the Azusa Downtown Station.

Permits are available on a first come, first serve basis. When permits run out, riders will be added to a waitlist, Metro said.

Permits for the Azusa Downtown Station were already limited and Metro is working with the City of Azusa to acquire more spaces.
