The arrest of a theft suspect at Kohl’s on Saturday led to the arrest of her two companions who allegedly took part in other crimes, police said.
Police were called at 8:42 p.m. to investigate a shoplifting suspect detained at Kohl’s, 1225 S. Lone Hill Ave. November 28.
Brittany Corona, 25, was taken into custody by police inside Kohl’s and after reviewing surveillance footage, officers discovered two other females accompanied Corona, said Sgt. Mike Henderson of Glendora Police.
After identifying the vehicle they arrived in, police located it and an accomplice sitting inside in the Kohl’s parking lot. The second suspect, Natalie Shpak, 30, was also detained, Henderson said.
The third suspect, Desarai Labey, 32, was found exiting Ulta Beauty, 1229 S. Lone Hill Ave., and was detained by police.
The vehicle the three suspects were driving was reported stolen out West Covina, Henderson said.
The females were found in possession of burglary tools, methamphetamine, stolen credit cards, identity theft profiles, stolen mail and a stolen check book, Henderson said.
Corona is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail. Shpak was released on $500 bond.
