Covina Police arrested three teens after a reported fight near Charter Oak High School Wednesday afternoon.
The altercation occurred across the street from Charter Oak Park near the high school, 1430 E. Covina Blvd., just before 5 p.m. None of the teens involved in the altercation received any major injuries. One teen was treated by paramedics at the scene, said Sgt. Gregg Peterson of Covina Police.
It was not known how many teens were involved in the altercation and the reason for the altercation was also unknown. It is also unknown if they are students of Charter Oak High School.
“It was pretty vague. Everyone was gone … everything had spread out and people were running, so we don’t know how many were involved,” Peterson said.
Peterson declined to give the ages of the teens arrested.
One of the three teens arrested was released to his parents, Peterson said.
