A female kindergarten student from Sellers Elementary was taken from school by her mother, apparently involved in a custody battle.
The event occurred on Friday morning during school while the kindergarten students were walking back from an on-campus computer center.
The mother was supposedly heading to the school office at the same time her daughter’s class was walking by. The mother grabbed her daughter by the hand as she walked by and quickly proceeded to take her out to a waiting vehicle where other people waiting to drive off.
Multiple staff immediately heard the chaos and attempted to run after them but the vehicle fled.
Glendora Police were called immediately and are currently investigating.
Sellers is located with the District office at 500 N Loraine Ave in Glendora.
