Glendora Chamber will host the 2019 State of the City & Schools Luncheon at the Glendora Country Club on Thursday, January 17th starting at 11:30AM.
Glendora Mayor Mendell Thompson will be the keynote speaker at this year’s State of the City and Schools luncheon to be held at the Glendora Country Club. Mayor Thompson will deliver his State of the City to include updates on Glendora’s new City Manager and new City Attorney, the March Sales Tax Proposal (Measure E) that residence will be voting on March 5 pertaining to a 0.75% sales tax increase, the Gold Line project and more.
In addition to Mayor Thompson, Superintendent/President of Citrus College Dr. Geraldine Perri, Glendora Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Robert Voors, and Charter Oak Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Michael Hendricks, will present the many projects current and future, accomplishments, awards and concerns they are dealing with now and what is soon to come.
