A motorcyclist was injured in a reported solo crash on Glendora Mountain Road Saturday afternoon.
The rider in his 30s hit the pavement about five miles north of Sierra Madre Avenue on the mountain road just before 2:30 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol traffic logs.
U.S. Forest Service fire fighters arrived on scene and reported the rider suffered a laceration to a leg and suffered some unconsciousness. Los Angeles County fire fighters arrived shortly afterwards and transported the rider by helicopter from Goddard Middle School to an area trauma center, according to broadcast traffic.
