Crews are working on the railroad crossing gates at several locations in town and are causing periodic traffic delays Thursday.
The work is being conducted at Grand Avenue and Foothill Boulevard, Vermont and Ada avenues, and Barranca Avenue. The work will cause the gate arms to be lowered for up to two minutes at a time and will continue throughout the day, according to the Glendora Police Department.
Drivers should consider an alternate route and are advised to never cross the railroad tracks while the gates are down.
