The 39-year-old army soldier accused of lewd acts with a teen girl and rape against his ex-wife pleaded not guilty today.

Fadi Haddad, a Glendora resident, was charged April 20 with three felony counts of lewd acts upon a child and two counts of forcible rape. If convicted as charged, Haddad could face a maximum of 75 years to life in state prison.
Deputy District Attorney Michael Matoba of the Victim Impact Program is assigned to the case and said Haddad allegedly sexually abused a young girl he had access to between 2009 and 2010, and again between 2013 and 2014, according to Sarah Ardalani of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The girl revealed the alleged abuse to an adult in 2015. The adult then contacted authorities. During the investigation, an adult victim came forward with allegations of rape by Haddad from 2014 and 2015, Matoba said.
Haddad is still in custody and is being held in lieu of $5 million bail.
Haddad is scheduled for a pre-preliminary hearing in Department N of the Pomona Courthouse July 28.
