Rain is coming to Glendora, possibly by tonight, but Sunday’s precipitation levels have forced city officials to raise the Colby Fire Alert Status to Yellow, Saturday afternoon.
- No evacuation orders in effect.
- Rain-related parking restrictions in effect.
- Residents directed to remove vehicles, trash bins and other obstructions from streets and/or travel lanes as they will be subject to tow or removal by authorities.

Forecasters predict a 40 percent chance for showers after 11 p.m. tonight with slight winds. On Sunday, the chance for showers coming in to the area will be 70 percent before 11 a.m. and will continue into the night.
“It will bring its heaviest rainfall over the Foothills. The rain should be light but steady and we could get 1 inch total rainfall. This amount of rainfall should not cause any issues but the city is raising its alert level to Yellow,” city officials said in a Facebook post.
Rain is expected to diminish by 50 percent for Monday morning, with partly cloudy skies greeting Glendora Monday night.
The rest of the week is expected to be mostly clear with highs in the 60s.
