A motorcyclist was injured in a collision on the eastbound Interstate 210 freeway Friday afternoon.
The collision was reported at 4:13 p.m. near Sunflower Avenue. California Highway Patrol officers shut down all lanes of traffic eastbound temporarily to move all involved parties to the right shoulder, according to CHP traffic logs.
It was not immediately known how many vehicles were involved in the collision. A secondary vehicle was at the crash, but it was unknown if that vehicle was involved, said Officer Pete Bishop of the CHP Traffic Management Center.
Los Angeles County Fire fighters transported the rider to Sunflower Alternative Schools where a helicopter then flew the victim to County/USC hospital for treatment just after 5 p.m. The rider’s injuries were unknown.
