A large tree fell and damaged an SUV in the 500 block of East Foothill Boulevard Thursday morning.
Police responded to the fallen tree around 3:49 a.m. and closed Foothill in both directions until workers could arrive, cut the tree and remove it from the road.
The city arborist was able to move what remained of the tree to the roadside and Foothill was reopened around 6 a.m., said Lt. Rob Lamborghini of Glendora Police.
The SUV belongs to the daughter of resident Jason Hamblin, who was selling the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
