City officials are reporting a slight chance for thunderstorms to accompany the slight rain forecast Thursday and Friday.

“The forecast for Thursday and Friday is for light rain but as always there is a chance of thunderstorms in the area,” according to Glendora Police on a post to Facebook. The city’s alert status has been upgraded to yellow.

The National Weather Service predicts some drizzle for Thursday before noon. A 20 percent chance for rain is expected Thursday after midnight and into Friday before noon. Wind gusts are expected to be as high as 15 miles per hour.

The chance for rain should diminish by Friday night.
