The Charter Oak Unified School District invites parents and the whole community to a STEM open house Monday, October 26.
The district will showcase STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) applications in the classroom. Attendees will take part in hands-on activities similar to what students use in the classrooms, district officials said in a written statement.
Discovery Education representatives will lead the open house and have experience in partnering with school districts and communities to build an interest in STEM fields.
The open house will take place in the Royal Oak Middle School Library, 303 S. Glendora Ave. from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
