An autopsy has yet to be scheduled for the woman found dead west of Lone Hill Avenue along the railroad tracks near the Glendora Marketplace.

Glendora resident Amy Nicole Loucks, 26, was identified as the woman found dead by Metrolink maintenance workers Thursday morning, said Ed Winter, assistant chief with the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner-Coroner.

First responders pronounced Loucks dead at the scene at 10:25 a.m., Winter said.

Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau believe Loucks’ body was resting near the railroad tracks for a day or two.

“It looks like nothing suspicious with her. Nothing obvious on the body, no signs of trauma. We may have to wait for an autopsy to find out exactly what happened to her,” said Sheriff’s Homicide Detective John Corina.

No obvious signs of gunshots, stab wounds or other signs of trauma were found Corina said. Authorities have also ruled out the idea that the woman may have been struck by a train.
