The two candidates facing off for the 48th Assembly district will answer questions and state their platforms during a forum set for late September.
The candidates forum will take place Thursday, September 22 starting at 7 p.m. at the Citrus Valley Association of Realtors, 504 E. Route 66. Glendora’s Cory Ellenson, a tax attorney and Glendora Unified board member, and Blanca Rubio, a Baldwin Park Unified board member and teacher, are the only candidates in the 48th district race.
The forum, produced by the Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee. The format will be live. Each candidate will be asked the same questions and will receive a time limit to answer. The candidates will be given the opportunity to make opening and closing statements.
Everyone is invited to attend on a first come, first serve basis.
