One driver was taken into custody by California Highway Patrol officers after the silver SUV being driven went over the side of a narrow road north of Glendora Thursday morning.
The accident was reported at 3:09 a.m. in the 7600 block of Ben Lomond Avenue, which rests in a county island of Glendora north of Sierra Madre Avenue and west of St. Lucy’s Priory High School. A resident reported the SUV was northbound on the narrow road when it went about 50 feet over the side and landed on his property.
The CHP Traffic Management Center was unable to provide more information, such as the offense the driver was arrested for, the name and gender of the driver and if there were any injuries reported.
Authorities were waiting for daylight to break before attempting to remove the SUV from the resident’s property.
