There is a small chance of thunderstorms to hit the mountain regions of Los Angeles County Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening, The NWS said.
Areas with higher chances for rain may receive heavy downpours, with greater flash flood potential in the mountains and recent burn areas.
Rain is expected to diminish late Thursday night and into Friday morning.
