Glendora Teen Honored For Community Work

A junior at Glendora High School was recently honored for his volunteer work in the community.

Dominic Allaf was honored with the Youth Recognition Award by the Glendora Coordinating Council.

Allaf has focused much of his work with Foothill Presbyterian Hospital, where he has volunteered for three years. Allaf joined the Junior Auxiliary Board as chairman of fundraising and now serves as president.

Allaf is also very active at Glendora High School. He is a member of the Medical Club, National Honor Society treasurer, Key Club member and is involved at his church, St. Peter Syriac Orthodox Church in San Dimas.

Allaf also tutors special children with learning disabilities.
