Triple digit temps will bake Glendora and the rest of Los Angeles County in dangerous heat today and Saturday.
Glendora is expected to reach a daytime high of 108 degrees Friday as a strong ridge of high pressure over Southern California will take temps about 10 to 15 degrees higher on what is considered the hottest time of the year.
Glendora is expected to reach 105 degrees on Saturday.
Temps between 100 and 110 degrees will be expected across the valleys and mountains with little relief at night, according to the National Weather Service.
The excessive heat warning will be in effect from 10 a.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Saturday.

In the event of a heat alert, or if temperatures rise above 100 degrees on any Sunday, the Historic Building at the La Fetra Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
