The multi-year construction project to improve traffic at the Interstate 210 and 134 freeways returns for a 34-hour closure starting Saturday, August 13.
The closure this time will close all eastbound lanes of the eastbound 210 freeway between Mountain Street and Lake Avenue, as well as the eastbound connector to the westbound 134. The closure will start Saturday, August 13 at 7 p.m. and end Monday, August 15 at 5 a.m.
The construction is part of a $148.5 million pavement rehabilitation project in the cities of Pasadena, Glendale and La Cañada Flintridge. Once completed in 2019, the new surface will create safer driving conditions for motorists, Caltrans said.
