Avalon Bay, the developer behind the 280-unit apartment complex on the northeast corner of Glendora Avenue and Route 66, is scheduled to begin street improvements near the construction site.
The improvements are scheduled to begin Monday, April 6 and is slated to take approximately four weeks to complete while crews lengthen the westbound left turn lane, replace concrete curb, gutters and sidewalks.
A bus pad and shelter will also be constructed on Glendora Avenue north of Route 66.
The work is being performed as part of the conditions of approval established by the city for the mixed-use project.
Drivers and pedestrians might experience some noise, closed traffic lanes and inconvenience.
