A 17-year-old skateboarder was injured after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday night.
The teen boy was struck in the intersection of Gladstone Street and Barranca Avenue around 7:47 p.m. April 15. Glendora Police officers shut down a portion of the road as they investigated the crash and examined the road to find possible evidence related to the incident, said Sgt. Chris Stabio of Glendora Police.
The teen boy was transported by helicopter to an area trauma center for treatment. The driver remained at the scene of the crash and cooperated with authorities, Stabio said.
The extent of injuries and what direction both the teen and driver were traveling were not immediately known.
