A 16-year-old motorcycle rider led Glendora officers on a brief, but fast pursuit before being arrested Saturday night.
The male suspect snaked through surface streets, running red lights, stop signs and reached speeds of around 70 miles per hour before being arrested near his home in San Dimas without incident.
Glendora officers attempted to pull over the rider at Gladstone Street and Sunflower Avenue at 6:50 p.m., but the rider refused to stop, said Lt. Rob Lamborghini of Glendora Police.
The pursuit found its way into San Dimas where the rider circled around neighborhoods, eventually stopping on San Dimas Canyon Road near Payson Street, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s radio traffic.
The juvenile, whose name is being withheld because he is a minor, was booked at the Glendora Police Station on suspicion of felony evading. He was eventually transferred to Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall in Downey, Lamborghini said.
