City officials have been informed that Glendora may experience more heavy rain this afternoon as a series of storms continues to blanket Southern California.
The rain may hit us in the next one to two hours, said Glendora City Manager Chris Jeffers. Thunderstorms are also possible this afternoon and into Thursday.
Sandbags are still available free of charge to Glendora residents at the city yard, 440 S. Lorraine Ave.
A flood advisory is in effect until 5:15 p.m. this afternoon, while a flash flood watch is in effect until Thursday at 4 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
