“Puffs & Pizza for Hope” will take place at the Italian restaurant for the month of Oct., and $5 from every pizza kit and $1 from every order of Garlic Puffs will be donated.
Spaghetti Eddie’s is uniting the community to help raise funds for ongoing awareness and research for the fight against breast cancer.
For the fifth year in a row, the Glendora family-owned Italian restaurant will raise money for City of Hope breast cancer research and awareness, but this year at a larger capacity.
In the past, the ‘Puffs for Hope’ October campaign meant that $1 from every order of Garlic Puffs would be donated. This year, the month-long initiative has been renamed ‘Puffs & Pizza for Hope’ which $1 for every order of Garlic Puffs purchased and $5 for every make-at-home Pizza Kit purchased will be donated.
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the restaurant is proud to be able to continue the annual tradition of uniting with the community to help raise funds for ongoing awareness and research for the fight against breast cancer. Like with past initiatives, Spaghetti Eddie’s sister restaurant, Eddie’s Italian Eatery, in Claremont will also be fundraising for breast cancer research during October.
Each pizza kit comes with three 10-inch make-at-home pizzas. All the ingredients from the dough to the toppings, plus instructions are included.
Donations will be applied to patio dining and call-in orders. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and county orders to limit indoor dining, the restaurant added a covered al fresco dining area.
The restaurant is known for giving back. For several years, Spaghetti Eddie’s has also partnered with the Glendora and Irwindale Police Departments to host “Pink Patches & Pasta,” an annual pink patch fundraiser that also raises money for City of Hope breast cancer research and awareness.
