UPDATE, 9:46 p.m.: Roughly 20 officers from the California Highway Patrol and Glendora Police are searching for the pursuit suspect after he crashed in the area of Baseline Road and Dodsworth Avenue, said Lt. Scott Strong of Glendora Police.
The Glendors Police K9 unit is also assisting with the search. No injuries were reported after the suspect crashed, Strong said.
UPDATE, 9:33p.m.: According to the CHP, a resident in the 400 block of West Larkspur reported an unknown man knocking on the front door and asked to be let in. It is unknown where that man fled to after that.
UPDATE, 9:25 p.m.: The California Highway Patrol helicopter over the scene of the pursuit termination has made an emergency landing. It is unclear to GCN why the copter has made the request to land on the Whitcomb High School playing field.
The pursuit suspect remains at large.
PREVIOUSLY: The California Highway Patrol was in pursuit of a vehicle that has crashed in the area of Baseline Road and Dodsworth Avenue and Meecham Street.
The pursuit began after 9 p.m. near Sunflower Avenue on the westbound Interstate 210 freeway.
The suspect bailed on foot and was seen by CHP officers fleeing towards Whitcomb Continuation High School, according to CHP broadcast traffic.
Glendora Police are being notified of the pursuit termination. A helicopter is overhead attempting to locate the suspect.
