A man was arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly intentionally striking a female driver’s vehicle in the Glendora Police parking lot during a prolonged road rage incident.
Police responded to the incident at 8:12 a.m., which started between a male driver and female driver at Citrus College, 1000 W. Foothill Blvd. The female victim drove to the Glendora Police Station parking lot with the suspect following her. After the female exited her vehicle, the suspect struck the side of the victim’s vehicle, said Sgt. Chris Stabio of Glendora Police.
Officers arrested 68-year-old Thomas Slanina. He was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon (his vehicle). Slanina was issued a citation and eventually released.
No one was injured during the incident. Slanina caused only minor damage to the victim’s vehicle, Stabio said.
