A suspect is in custody after an armed robbery attempt at Citibank Tuesday afternoon.
While police would offer few details, they did say that sometime before 1 p.m., police received a call of a robbery in progress at the bank, 401 E. Arrow Hwy. Officers responding to the robbery alarm call surrounded the bank while employees evacuated, said Cpt. Joe Ward of Glendora Police.
Police received information that the alleged robber was still inside at the time of the call.
Officers contained the bank after rendering the employees safe. The armed suspect then exited Citibank and was arrested, Ward said.
Tony Ursulo, 61, was booked on suspicion of first degree robbery. He is being held in the Glendora jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Police recovered the handgun from the suspect, Ward said.
Detectives are still investigating and would not say if the suspect had any cash in his possession or what type of weapon he was armed with.
The FBI is working with Glendora Police on the investigation.
