Registration is open for the Officer Louie Pompei Memorial Golf Tournament, which is scheduled for Monday, July 13 at the Glendora Country Club.
The event honors Glendora Police Officer Louie Pompei who was shot and killed while thwarting an armed robbery of a Vons grocery store in San Dimas on June 9, 1995. Funds raised from the tournament benefit charities, including those supporting law enforcement families whose loved ones were killed in the line of duty.
Scheduled for July 13 is a four-person scramble, lunch, a raffle and unlimited drinks on the course, followed by an awards reception and dinner at T. Phillip’s Alehouse and Grill in the Glendora Village.
Check-in begins at 10 a.m., followed by a 10:30 a.m. putting contest. The event begins at 12 p.m.
Registration for individual golfers is $150. Foursome registration is $600. Donation and sponsorship opportunities are also available. Donors can sponsor a hole for $150 and have a professional sign displayed to advertise your company at a tee box.
