El Niño is not quite done yet as forecasters expect a strong chance for three days of rain beginning Saturday.
Two storm systems will move through the area, with the second storm bringing the possibility of heavier downpours and thunderstorms for recent burn areas from late Sunday through early Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Rainfall rates for much of the area vary from one to two inches, bringing a possibility of mud and debris flows, the NWS said.
Some rain from the first storm system could arrive as early as 4 p.m. Saturday. The majority of Saturday’s rain should hit the area after 10 p.m.
Tuesday is expected to be sunny with a high near 70 degrees.
