UPDATE, 12:32 p.m.: Firefighters have the small brush fire contained near the freeway and have hose lines around it. Fire has been held to less than one acre, according to firefighter broadcast traffic.
PREVIOUS: Firefighters are battling a small brush fire near the Interstate westbound 210 freeway and Sunflower Avenue.
Los Angeles County Firefighters report at least a half-acre has burned and is running uphill. One structure is threatened. Three helicopters have been dispatched to the fire, which was first reported around 11:40 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert for the Sunflower Avenue off ramp.
