Periods of heavy rainfall are still expected to hit SoCal, forecasters reported Sunday.
The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Watch for portions of southwest California, including the Colby Fire burn area. The watch will continue through Monday evening.
The potential for heavy rainfall will last through Monday and may drop more than one inch of rain per hour. Thunderstorms are still possible as the remnants of tropical storm Delores continues to move across the region, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS advises residents in or below recent burn areas to take necessary steps to protect their property, to remain alert and follow the directions of emergency preparedness officials.
