A man who fled a vehicle during a traffic stop on Lone Hill Avenue Friday night was hospitalized after being tackled and tasered by officers.
The passenger, 30-year-old Ryan Uribe, fled from officers after Glendora Police initiated the stop on northbound Lone Hill Avenue north of Auto Centre Drive at 9:45 p.m. He was subdued by police just under the Interstate 210 freeway overpass.
Uribe was later found to have a false driver license in his possession. Officers also discovered stolen checks inside the stopped car, said Lt. Scott Strong of Glendora Police.
Uribe was examined at a local hospital for possible injuries, but he checked out fine, Strong said.
Uribe was booked on suspicion of impersonation of another. His bail was set at $50,000.
Also arrested were Jazmine Alonzo, 22, and Joshua Chavez, 29.
Alonzo was booked on suspicion of forgery and receiving known stolen property. She was held in lieu of $20,000 bail. Chavez was booked on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and failing to obey a traffic signal. Chavez was issued a citation and released.
