Don ’t get too sour, but the California Highway Patrol has closed all westbound lanes of the Interstate 210 freeway at Sunflower Avenue due to spilled lemons.
The Sig Alert was issued at 10:10 p.m. and will last until 10:40 p.m. while cleanup is in progress, the CHP said.
CHP officers were running traffic breaks due to the lemons creating slippery conditions on the roadway. A sweeper was summoned to help clean the roadway, the CHP said.
