Caltrans crews will be shutting down the entire westbound side of the Interstate 210 freeway in Pasadena again to continue a massive construction project.
The 55-hour Rose Jam closure will begin Friday, July 29 at 10 p.m. Lanes are scheduled to reopen Monday, August 1 at 5 a.m., affecting the westbound 210 freeway between Lake Avenue and Mountain Street and the eastbound State Route 134 connector to the westbound 210.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area, plan alternate routes and check traffic conditions before traveling, Caltrans said.
The work is part of a $148 million pavement rehabilitation project involving both sides of the 210 freeway in Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge and Pasadena, to be completed in 2018.
The closure is weather permitting and may be subject to change, Caltrans said.
