Los Angeles County Firefighters came to the rescue Tuesday night and plucked a pet guinea pig that fell 23 feet into the flood control channel behind Finkbiner Park.
Glendora Police were called about 5:22 p.m. to Finkbiner, 160 N. Wabash Ave., by the mother of 10-year-old Reagan, whose pet guinea pig, Harry, accidentally fell into the wash. Glendora Police notified firefighters from Station 86, who arrived with colleagues from Station 153 out of Covina and used a ladder to climb into the wash and saved Harry.
Harry was uninjured and is doing fine, Glendora Police said.
